The service staff assigned to our twelve Customer Support Centers around Japan visit our partnering maintenance workshops and customers in order to improve CS.
Customer Support Centers (CSC) that provide services to satisfy customers are located around Japan.
They provide uniform services throughout Japan and provide a sense of security with services that are tied to their communities so that no other vehicle lease (auto lease) company can compete with us.
Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service has tied up with about 22,000 nationwide maintenance workshops, which have met our standards so that you can receive the same uniform service anywhere in Japan.
Partnering maintenance workshops that have met our original standards have been organized into SMAC.
Training is conducted regularly around Japan in our effort to improve CS and provide even higher quality services.
We have made a system that assures that our customers can securely and safely use their automobiles by developing an original quality control system named SMAS-QMS®* that is based on our own standards and which is used by our service department as well as partnering maintenance workshops and other subcontractors. These standards are used to regularly check on quality control conditions.
We use the Internet to communicate information such as maintenance service subcontract management information, inspection implementation management, inspection implementation request data, and other information with our maintenance workshops. In addition, we also regularly provide information to help improve CS, such as examples of problems.
We provide the best maintenance services from a rich menu of services that will meet the usage and operating conditions of our customers.
Scheduled inspection | The specified scheduled inspections (preventive maintenance) are implemented according to the cycles specified in the contracts. |

Statutory inspections and maintenance | We conduct statutory inspections and maintenance based on the Road Trucking Vehicle Act. |
Continued certification inspection maintenance | Inspection and maintenance for certification as well as related inspection procedures are all implemented. |
General maintenance and malfunction repair | Malfunctions that result from daily use are repaired and parts are replaced. Consumables such as belts, elements, and battery fluid are exchanged or added in view of mileage, elapsed period, and other predetermined criteria. |
Engine oil changes and refilling (including oil elements) | Engine oil is changed according to the mileage and elapsed time. |
Tire changes | Tires are changed according to wear up to the limit specified in the contract. If studless (winter) tires are included in the contract, then studless (winter) tires will be changed up to the limit specified in the contract. |
Battery changes | Batteries are replaced if necessary up to the number specified in the contract. |
Accident processing service | We will help with accident processing by working in conjunction with your insurance company. |
Basic loaner car | If three or more days are necessary for a statutory inspection and maintenance, continued certification inspection, or malfunction repair after we receive your vehicle at our auto repair shops, then a loaner car will be provided from the third day. |

Accident loaner car | We will provide a loaner car for malfunction repair. When a vehicle is a total loss in an accident, a loaner car will be provided until the date the total loss is designated. |
Free loaner car (excluding accidents) | Loaner cars will be provided for various inspections and maintenance and malfunction repairs. |
Tire storage service | We will store tires when they are not being used. |

Web vehicle image service | In this service, when vehicles are being inspected at the maintenance workshop, their exteriors are photographed and the photographs are uploaded to a dedicated website for viewing. This will expose any hidden accidents and contribute to improving the morals of drivers and reducing accidents. |

Cost management for refueling by using two cards for the various fuel prices in different regions helps to reduce costs.
