Pursue Carbon Neutrality together with Our Clients

We, Sumitomo Auto Service (SMAS), believes it utmost importance to support our clients' secure and safe use of cars. We have grown by providing our clients with our high-quality, comprehensive fleet management services based upon car leasing. Our growth has been achieved by the warm support of all of our stakeholders. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our stakeholders for their heartfelt support to our success.

In the fiscal year 2021, we defined the "Basic Policy of Sustainability" based on our management philosophy. We designated the materiality that consists of 3 facets - environment, social and governance (ESG) - critical in pursuit of the sustainable society. We conduct our business activities and our social contribution with such basic policy and materiality.

Moreover, in fiscal year 2023, we formulated a new strategic roadmap entitled "SMAS Evolution 2023 ∞." Central to this agenda is our vision to position ourselves as a "Mobility Platformer for a Sustainable Society," and we keep putting the sustainability management into practice.
We dedicate all our effort to manage the climate change, one of the most critical issues that people face worldwide. In our role as a provider of automotive services, we have identified the reduction of CO₂ emissions as an urgent and pivotal focus of our efforts.

Moving forward, we will implement various initiatives to reduce CO₂ emissions, with the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. We will also provide timely and appropriate disclosures about our progress, and actively contribute to realize a virtuous circle of environmental and economic sustainability.

We hope our various stakeholders further understand our efforts and we would like to work together and walk together with them to realize the sustainable society.
