Message from the President of SMAS（Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Company, Limited）
SMAS (Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service ), believes it utmost importance to support our clients' secure and safe use of cars. We have provided our clients with our high-quality comprehensive fleet management services and have grown as a leader of the leasing industry. Our growth has been achieved by the warm support of all of our stakeholders. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our stakeholders for their heartfelt support to our success.
Today, the world experiences dramatic and rapid changes that it has not experienced before... the global warming which drives the climate change and the extreme weather, the progressive aging in society and the digital evolution as IoT (Internet of Things) and AI (Artificial Intelligence). We, SMAS, recognize it essential to sense the slightest changes of such kind and continue evolution within ourselves to swiftly provide the new values that address the client needs. We make more people recognize and then further promote electrification including BEV (battery electric vehicle) and HV (hybrid vehicle). We expand the mobility services to enable seamless transportation in the business scenes.
At the same time, we feel it important in such disruptive changes that "we keep providing the new values and the evolving services embraced by the clients with strong emphasis on the voice of clients and the swift responses to such voices" as described in Mission of our Company Philosophy. It is our strength to listen to what the clients have to say and to attempt resolving the various challenges of the clients' fleet management around the world.
SMAS, as a "Mobility Platformer for a Sustainable Society", continues providing the new values embraced by our clients and contribute to develop the automotive society and materialize the sustainable society.
