We, Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service, uphold in our Management Philosophy, "We continue providing new values embraced by our clients and contribute to the progress of the automotive society and the improvement of the global environment," and pursue a sustainable society. In order to achieve this goal, we have established materiality and work with our stake holders to solve the issues of our society by our business activities and contribute to our society by non-business activities.
Six Materialities
In March 2021, we reviewed the materiality with more focus on SDGs and ESGs. For such review process, the internal work force was formed with 12 task members selected regardless of age or gender from the various departments. The task members exchanged their opinions on the ideal state of our company and the society and identified 6 particularly important materialities. Each and every one of employees keeps aware of the materialities and contributes to our society by solving the challenges therein through their activities in and out of the business and pursue building the sustainable society.
